Welcome to the Dawlish Air Show Website
The seaside town of Dawlish is a premier resort on the south coast of Devon and, with its glorious bay and a dramatic coastline, it's the perfect setting for the spectacle that is, "Dawlish Carnival Air Show".
The town centre offers something for everyone from cafes to pubs and restaurants and of course there are plenty of places to get that seaside favourite 'fish n chips'. Gift shops and retail outlets are plentiful, so whether it's a unique souvenir or just a bucket and spade you are sure to find what you are looking for.
All displays are free to access. The static display areas are staffed by the air crew and air cadets who are equipped with the knowledge to show you the aircraft up close.
In the centre of town the Lawn offers sideshows, stalls and fairground rides to entertain the family. Next to the Lawn and running down to the sea is Dawlish Water with its array of waterfowl and the famous Dawlish Black Swans.
Dawlish Warren (www.dawlishwarren.info) is a "Blue Flag" family beach, backed by sand dunes and small lakes. The Warren beach stretches for miles to reach the Exe estuary in one direction and Dawlish Town in the other. Static aircraft displays will take place at Dawlish Warren.
Once the last plane has taken to the sky and all the ice cream has been eaten the entertainment continues into the night with live music and dancing.
Toilet facilities including baby changing and disabled access are available within the town centre and at Dawlish Warren.
Public transport access via rail or bus. The railway line runs the length of the airshow display line.
Event parking for 1500 vehicles.
Marshalls and event staff trained and qualified to national levels.
