Dawlish is unique among the seaside shows, well known for securing displays and flypasts many larger shows are unable to get. However the main attraction of Dawlish for the enthusiast is the outstanding photo opportunities that it provides. Graham Cherry was there to find out what makes this show so special.

Well it's mid-August, it's a weekday and I've got a day off. That can only mean one of two things, I've filled my holiday form in wrong at work or it's the Dawlish Carnival Airshow. Luckily for me it's the latter. So it's off to the south coast with two umbrellas, a full tank of gas and at least 3000 calories. Geoff Hibbert reports for GAR.
